Registration & Fees

Register now! Register early to reserve a space; last minute registrants will be accepted on a space available basis.

FEES

    • $350 for Physicians and Nurses completing the Geriatric Scholar Certificate (40 hours) OR the Advanced Clinical Course in Geriatrics and Palliative Care for Frontline Primary Care Workers (40 hours) 
    • $225 for all other Allied Health Professionals completing the Geriatric Scholar Certificate OR the Advanced Clinical Course in Geriatrics and Palliative Care for Frontline Primary Care Workers (limited scholarships available)
    • $250 for Interdisciplinary Academic and Clinical Faculty completing the Faculty Development Course: Interdisciplinary Geriatric Cultural and Linguistic Competency (24 hours)
    • $150 for Interdisciplinary Fellows and Residents completing the Faculty Development Course: Interdisciplinary Geriatric Cultural and Linguistic Competency
    • $75 for Physicians and Nurses completing a single day of training (8 hours)
    • $50 for other Allied Health Professionals completing a single day of training
    • Registration free for employees of training location. 
      RETURNING GERIATRIC SCHOLAR CERTIFICATE GRADUATES

      You may attend unlimited trainings within the academic year for only $100.00. 

       VISN 3 EMPLOYEES
  • If a training program is taking place at your facility or at a facility within your VISN 3 Health Care System, then you may attend the training free of charge. Please refer to this link for a listing of VISN 3 facilities, clinics and systems within VISN 3: http://www.nynj.va.gov/visn3fac.asp.

  • If a training program is taking place outside your VISN 3 facility, clinic, or Health Care System, then you may attend at HALF the published price of the training program (please note: you must be within VISN 3 to receive this discount). This will ensure that we can offer a high quality program with renowned faculty, light refreshments, and offer you CMEs.

  • * Special Note: All VA employees may attend free of charge for The Advanced Course in Geriatrics and Palliative Care for Frontline Primary Care Providers being offered in 2009-10. This is the only CNYGEC course where all VA health care practitioners may attend free of charge, regardless of  home facility, clinic, or Health Care System

     NYC HHC EMPLOYEES

    $100 for entire Geriatric Scholar Certificate Program and $30 for individual training

    • Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to CNYGEC two weeks before the training date for tuition refund. An administrative fee of $25.00 will be retained.  No refunds will be made on cancellations after this date or for "no shows."
