Utica Geriatric Scholar Certificate Program (5 days)

This five-day educational conference, held one day each week for five weeks, is offered at the Masonic Care Community, Utica, NY and provides professional training in interdisciplinary geriatrics & gerontology. The Geriatric Scholar Certificate Program is offered by the Columbia University Stroud Center's Statewide Geriatric Psychiatry Residency/Fellowship Program and Columbia-New York Geriatric Education Center of the Consortium of NY Geriatric Education Centers (CNYGEC) and the Research Foundationof SUNY- Center of Aging Research, Education and Services (CARES) Project, Upstate Medical University Clinical Campus at Binghamton. This program has no financial commercial support, nor has it received “services in kind” commercial support. This activity has received grant support from: The Slocum Dickson Foundation, and Utica College. Faculty come from Canada, New York City and various local programs.

The Health Foundation for Western & Central New York’s Geriatric Education for Rural Health Professionals program allows rural health care providers, including physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners, to attend the Utica Geriatric Scholar Certificate Program, at no cost to them.  For more information, please click here.

Binghamton Geriatric Scholar Certificate Program (5 days)

This five-day educational conference, held one day each week for five weeks, is offered at The Greater Binghamton Health Center, Binghamton, New York and provides professional training in interdisciplinary geriatrics & gerontology. The Geriatric Scholar Certificate Program is offered by the Columbia University Stroud Center's Statewide Geriatric Psychiatry Residency/Fellowship Program and Columbia-New York Geriatric Education Center of the Consortium of NY Geriatric Education Centers (CNYGEC) and the Research Foundation of SUNY- Center of Aging Research, Education and Services (CARES) Project, Upstate Medical University Clinical Campus at Binghamton.
